Nature has an intrinsic healing power that can connect you back to yourself and your environment. By moving naturally in the greenery, we take in extra oxygen and water and thus get our metabolism going. If we also connect in a very conscious, playful way with the surrounding natural elements, we can very specifically strengthen your emotional, mental or physical resilience, set specific professional or health goals and (re)awaken and optimize your inner fire, motivation, fun and drive.
Increasing resilience has many facets.
It can mean that you want to regain your strength both physically and mentally, e.g. after injury or burn-out. It could also be that you have great strength, but that you can no longer fully develop this strength because of obstructive feelings or thoughts, or that you can no longer realize your goals. Emotionally, you could learn to be more assertive, clearer or safer in expressing your boundaries and wishes to your partner, family or team members, to overcome insecurities or fears, to bond and connect in a healthy way or to live life with more fire and without inhibition.
During a personal conversation, your specific questions and challenges will surface, after which we will work casually and incrementally toward easily set goals. Because of the free and playful-creative way of moving, talking and connecting, we avoid competitive stress and can still explore and gradually push our physical, emotional and/or mental limits. Connecting in and with nature (compared to the gym or therapy room) helps us in many ways.
A Body Play session is a 3h, active-play group 'workout' in nature, where we move together naturally and playfully, gently exploring the boundaries of our personal comfort zones. The goal is to gradually strengthen our physical, as well as emotional and mental resilience to holistically restore the balance between body, mind and spirit.
We make solo, duo or group physical contact, support, protect, motivate and inspire each other and take time to absorb the intimate beauty and healing power of silence and nature. We walk through the forest and pick out objects to “play” with creatively: we might hang from a tree branch for a while, run uphill together, blind balance over fallen trees, lift weights with a large stone....
The sessions are dynamic, light-hearted, creative and inspiring, but also have 'healing' qualities, where sometimes limiting beliefs, feelings or hidden physical aspects can surface. These are then handled with care, individually or in groups, so that processing and growth can take place.
The sessions take place weekly on Saturday mornings from 10am-1pm at the Meerdael Forest in Oud-Heverlee.
Years of accumulated tension and stress may have created difficulties or fears in connecting deeply with yourself and/or others. One has then started to protect oneself emotionally in order not to be affected even more. It can show itself in pushing away or avoiding difficult feelings, subjects or situations, but also in not knowing and standing up for yourself, a loss of willpower or the inability to keep direction or focus to achieve certain goals.
Belonging somewhere, being recognized, seen and appreciated is an important, natural need. It can feel very challenging (and even threatening) for some people to experience emotional closeness and connection in group. By participating with genuine honesty, commitment and objectivity, within the group we are not ashamed to show vulnerability and open up to greater intimacy. We create a playful practice space in nature, where healthy “touch” and connection is possible, where difficult issues around masculinity and femininity can be addressed, where mutual attraction, as well as openness, deepening respect and ultimately more love for our partner, family member, friend, colleague or fellow human being can surface.
The Connection Play - sessions are organized regularly, vary between 3h and 6h in length and can take place both indoor (winter) and outdoor (summer) at specific locations.
Whether you are in a partner relationship where you feel something is missing or could still grow. Or you have a more difficult connection with a friend or family member that you would like to repair or improve. Learning to engage in emotional closeness, connection and intimacy in a healthy way will help you learn to trust yourself, others and the world much better. The constant search or need for connection then ebbs away and makes way for inner peace and joy, from which we can start to trust unconditionally and build healthy, nurturing and deepening relationships.
Intimate connection is learning to unconditionally trust the other as a human being and to recognize your own defense mechanisms and gently let go when the environment and circumstances are safe enough to allow this to happen.

We regularly organize multi-day 'intensives', which can take place both at home and abroad. These 'explorations' are meant to work more deeply, and thus more intensely, around certain themes and can be planned individually (on demand) as well as in groups.
The 'exclusivity' of these experiences, ensures that the focus is 100% on yourself (and/or the group) for a longer period of time, allowing you to achieve better results faster in the short term. This often leads to unforgettable and transformative experiences.
Intensives can be multi-day reflection, walking or survival trips, theme weekends or nature-connecting activities, sometimes in partnership with other worthwhile organizations.
Upon request, customized group programs can be designed to meet the specific needs of your group or organization. Please contact us directly using the details below.
